Important Information
- Your camera has been modified. This modification will give you the ability to rotate the camera at any angle. So, when you are looking down at the cue ball, the camera will always be parallel with the entire length of the pool table. The camera can be adjusted based on an individuals' stance and height differences.
- We highly recommend reading the manual and additional information that is found on the official PogoTec website. (link below)
- If you don't own a smart phone, tablet, or unsure how to use apps in general and pairing devices then you may want guidance from a friend or family member if you purchase this device.
- The Billiard Camera is similar to how a GoPro works. Photos and videos can't be viewed on the device itself, you will need to have the app or use a computer to view the photos. Having the Billiard Camera app is a great for on the go uploads. Photos can be transferred from the camera to the smart case and vice versa in sets of 20. You can only delete items from the smart case in sets of 20 as well. It's recommended to move low quantity of photos/videos around. Moving 20 items every time will take a lot of time and use more of the battery. Videos can't be transferred via bluetooth. (read more information below under the recommendation for step #2)
- The camera can be used to take photos, but capturing videos is a complete game changer. The camera won't be able to record your entire session from start to finish. It's recommended that before you're about to use the video mode, push the record button, and stop recording after your shot and repeat this process until your camera's store is full (red LED light will display on the side of the camera) and recording will no longer record until you move items over to your smart case (bluetooth) or smartphone/laptop via cord. Camera will remain in idle mode for 90 seconds once it's on. When the camera's functions haven't been used within those 90 seconds, the camera will turn off by itself. (This actually helps conserve the battery life). To turn the camera back on, just hold down the power button and you're back in business!

How to Get Started with Your New Billiard Camera for our Billiard Glasses Design
Step #1: As stated above, familiarize yourself with the Manual and Wallet Card' (included in box) that describes the lights and sounds of camera's function. We have provided useful links below.
|
Step #2: Download the app (available for smartphones and tablets). App can be used to view, edit, and share the photos on the go!! Also, you're able to check the battery life of the camera and the Smart Case! Note: Videos can't be transferred to the app using bluetooth. To transfer videos to your smartphone, please use the USB cord that's available for your smartphone's device. To see your videos on a PC, please use the cord that's included in the box. Our Expert Recommendation: Use the App to check on your battery life and use the app as a quick glance to see your photos. Otherwise, wait and transfer your latest photos and videos to a nearby computer. |
Step #3: Mount the 'modified' magnetic strip and the safety loop to your billiard glasses. You can put the camera on either side of the temple. We recommend putting on the side that goes with your dominant hand. Note: Whichever temple you use, if you decide to switch the camera to the opposite temple then the buttons will be flipped. Our Expert Recommendation: Use the medium or larger loop. The larger the loop means the greater angle that the camera will be able to move without the temple of the frame interfering. The small loop will limit the angle. |
Step #4: Test Out the Camera! Before you take your band new camera to a local pool hall or billiard tournament, test out the camera first by taking photos and videos in the room that you're currently in. Review your photos/videos to see how they turned out. Step 5: Once you master all the previous steps and you know how to use the camera, smart case, then you can start transferring and sharing your photos/videos with ease. Have Fun!! |
